The interest in the elegant and versatile Andalusian horse (and particularly pure black Andalusians) is growing throughout the United States and is gaining much attention from many disciplines, including the dressage community. Our farm, Majestic Andalusians DM is a small facility specializing in a few select premium quality foals with show and dressage potential. We are currently located in Lindale, Texas. After purchasing a half-Andalusian in 1998, I set about researching the Andalusian horse - how the breed came to the US and, most importantly, when I could buy my first purebred Andalusian! Eventually, I purchased a fantastic pure-bred grey Andalusian gelding, "Rocotilo" who was the 2000 National Champion Halter Gelding. The dream of owning a purebred black Andalusian stallion became a reality when I purchased Amistad SL. In fall 2005, Amistad SL was sold to Mystic Andalusians and is currently owned by Ryan Prince. Shortly after the sale of Amistad, we purchased the imported revised stallion, Comprendido. This impressive black stallion from Madrid produced several outstanding foals for Majestic Andalusians DM with our premium brood mares. He has been recently sold. Costalero XV - Majestic Andalusians DM is proud to introduce Costalero XV! This magnificent pure black 2005 Andalusian stallion (shown on right) has recently been imported from the famous dressage producing Yeguada Maipe in Spain. He is revised and has been color tested as a homozygous black.
