The interest in the elegant and versatile Andalusian horse (and particularly pure black Andalusians) is growing throughout the United States and is gaining much attention from many disciplines, including the dressage community. Our farm, Majestic Andalusians DM is a small facility specializing in a few select premium quality foals with show and dressage potential. We've recently relocated to Lindale, Texas. After purchasing a half-Andalusian in 1998, I set about researching the Andalusian horse - how the breed came to the United States and, most importantly, when I could buy my first purebred Andalusian! Eventually, I purchased a fantastic pure-bred grey Andalusian gelding, "Rocotilo" who became the 2000 National Champion Halter Gelding. Shortly thereafter, I purchased a purebred dapple grey who has proven to be a superb parade and trail horse. But still, I wanted more! The dream of owning a purebred black Andalusian stallion became a reality when I purchased Amistad SL, who is truly in a class of his own. His magnificence took my breath away! In fall 2005, Amistad SL was sold to Mystic Andalusians and has recently been purchased, from Mystic, by professional trainer, Ryan Prince. Comprendido! And now enters our recently imported revised stallion, Comprendido! This impressive pure black homozygous stallion from Madrid is over 16.1hh and has tons of hair. He has started an impressive show career here in the United States, already earning a Reserve National Championship title in Dressage Suitability. We have bred "Prendo" to several of our premium mares for 2008 foals and are certain that this magnificent stallion will produce many outstanding, revisable foals for us in the years to come.
