Comprendido was born in 2002 from Yeguada Manuel San Maguel. His great grandsire is Gastador XV. His grandsire is Avispado II (Champion of the Breed - EQUS 1995) who is a descendant of Andairna IV. On his sire's side, Comprendido is from the best military lines, dating back to Maluso. On his dam's side, he has Cartujano Origans from the Hierro del Bocado in the line of "Bilbaino".
