Sonajero XII ( Financiero II x Sonajera V )
Born in 2000, 16 hand ANCCE Revised, homozyous black stallion. Sonajero XII's bloodlines include Terry and Military. His famous relatives include: Uranio VII (qualified); Costalero XV (three-time IALHA National Champion); Brandy VIII (qualified); Sonadora XIII (qualified); Descarado II; Bilbaino III; Nevado III; Hacendoso IX; and Remanche. Sonajero XII's noted offspring include Contuso - a member of Maipe Dressage Team and finalist at SICAB.
After a year of searching for a senior stallion to lead our herd, it ended where it first began - at Yeguada Maipe. This incredible stallion, schooling at Grand Prix, not only moves as a dressage star would, with three world-class gaits, he also has the work ethic sought after by today's top dressage competitors.
Desplante XIII ( Cuchares II x Zarza VI )
Born in 2007, 15.3 hand ANCCE Revised buckskin stallion. Desplante XIII's bloodlines include Terry, Military, Bohorquez, and Benitez. His famous relatives include: Minero VII (Grand Prix Confirmed and SICAB finalist); Gento (qualified); Agente; Bilbaino III; and Temerario III.
Desplante XIII is a VERY rare RED Buckskin color code taken by Ancce which is Ee AA CCr gg. He can produce Palominos, Perlinos, Cremelos, Buckskins and Chestnuts. Desplante XIII has the best work ethics and mind we have ever come across. This year, 2011 he will begin his USDF dressage, we are very excited!
Costalero XV ( Uranio VII x Costalera VI )
Born in 2005. 16 hand ANCCE Revised. Homozyous black stallion. Costalero XV's bloodlines include Carthusian and Military. His famous relatives include: Uranio VII (qualified); Sonadora XIII (qualified); Financiero II; Descarado II; Bilbaino III; Nevado III; and Hacendoso IX.
Costalero is 7 times National Champion to date from dressage to show hack. In 2010 he started his career in USDF dressage as a 4 1/2 yr old Stallion. From winning his first training level in April with high 60's, he finished the year out of first level test three. We are looking forward to showing Costalero at second level in 2011. Costalero is expecting some foals on the ground early Spring 2011.
